San Francisco, Calif. – May 26, 2010 - With CEO Chris Babel recently joining the company this past December, TRUSTe, the leading provider of online privacy trustmarks, continues its expansion in announcing today three new additions to its executive team: Tim Sullivan as Chief Financial Officer, Ken Okumura as VP of Engineering and Bob Bahramipour as VP of Business Development.
- Tim Sullivan has been named Chief Financial Officer and brings over 15 years of industry experience working in financial and strategic management. Prior to joining TRUSTe, Tim was a Managing Director in Morgan Stanley's Technology Group, where he worked with the full spectrum of technology companies -- computer hardware, software, Internet, semiconductor and semiconductor capital equipment -- and spent several years as the Co-Head of its Global Semiconductor Practice.
- Ken Okumura,TRUSTe’s Vice President of Engineering, presides over the company’s engineering technology and operations. Ken brings more than two decades of experience building and scaling core Internet infrastructure in security, commerce, and communications to TRUSTe, having worked at companies such as VeriSign, Visa, and GTE. Most recently Ken led engineering efforts at Qualys, a company specializing in vulnerability management. Prior to that, he worked for Postini, where he helped build its messaging anti-spam, security and management systems prior to its acquisition by Google.
- Bob Bahramipour, who joins TRUSTe as Vice President of Business Development, is an active member of the technology and venture communities with more than 15 years of media and Internet experience. Prior to TRUSTe, Bob served as the Vice President of business development at YuMe, where he was responsible for building the largest video advertising network on the Internet. He has also worked at Yahoo! as a member of the Search team, overseeing product, distribution and partnerships.
