Tip: Be a privacy leader and raise your standards to "BEST PRACTICES"

TRUSTe always encourages licensees to adopt privacy practices and disclosures that follow best practices. For example, if you share personally identifiable information ("PII") with a third party, you must at the minimum get OPT-OUT consent from the consumer per TRUSTe requirements. However, it is strongly recommended that an OPT-IN choice option is used, where the consumer checks a box or affirmatively responds in some way. Stay ahead of the curve and adopt privacy best practices whenever possible.
