2013 Roadshow Overview

TRUSTe joined forces with key industry partners in the emerging privacy-tech ecosystem for the 2013 'Powering Trust' Roadshow Series. This first of its kind event was intended to better prepare Marketing and Privacy executives from brands, publishers, and agencies, to manage the complex data privacy challenges associated with the innovative marketing and advertising solutions they need to run their online businesses.

The series kicked off in San Francisco in September with rave reviews from guest speakers and delegates. This was the first in a series of events across the US and Europe in which industry leaders showcased privacy technology solutions, research and best practices for managing data privacy across web, mobile and ads channels. The TRUSTe 'Powering Trust' Roadshow continued onto New York City in early October at the hip and trendy Ace Hotel where the conversations continued.

The last stop for the 2013 'Powering Trust' Roadshow Series was London in mid-October, to further discuss ramifications in the European privacy-tech ecosystem for advertisers, marketers, publishers and privacy professionals. Attendees heard keynote presentations by Forrester Research and the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance as well as insights from industry experts from AdTruth, BrightTag, C3 Metrics, Drawbridge, IAB, Nexage, PubMatic, RiskIQ, TRUSTe, and many more.

Topics included cross-device user tracking, ways companies are monetizing advertising, and best practices and recommendations on how to effectively build trust with consumers. A big thank you to all our sponsors, speakers and attendees for coming out and making this series a great success.
