TRUSTed Apps Data Privacy Certification
for Marketplace Apps

Google and TRUSTe have teamed up to help you better communicate how your application manages data privacy. All installable apps in the Google Apps Marketplace are eligible to apply, at no cost for the first year. Certification of your data management practices by a leader in privacy will increase a business customer's level of confidence in your app. TRUSTe certification signals that your app complies with TRUSTe's program standards which are based upon regulatory and industry guidelines around data handling and privacy and allows you to differentiate your apps from others increasing the number of downloads from the Google Apps Marketplace.

Please note that certifications under this no cost program are not eligible to display outside of the Google Apps Marketplace, and you will be responsible for paying for renewals beyond year one at a special rate of $300 per year.
