Q: What does it cost to join the TRUSTe Partner Program?
A: Absolutely nothing. Becoming an affiliate is fast, easy and FREE. Plus, you can opt out any time.

Q: Do you use a third-party affiliate network?
A: Yes, TRUSTe is an advertiser in the Commission Junction affiliate network. By applying to our program, you will also be signing up for an affiliate account with Commission Junction.

Q: Does my Web site qualify to be a TRUSTe Affiliate?
A: Most sites with content relating to products or services offered at TRUSTe will qualify for the affiliate program. However, we reserve the right to deny sites that we feel are inappropriate, including those that host sexually explicit material, promote violence and/or discrimination, illegal activities, etc. Apply today for fast review and approval.

Q: What can I earn in commissions?
A: Your earning potential is unlimited. You'll receive 20% commission on nearly all product sales -- including standard domain registrations -- made through your affiliate link. Flat-rate payouts apply to new purchases only. Renewals are excluded.

Q: Do I need to have any technical skills?
A: Affiliates must be able to copy and paste HTML code and place it accurately within the code of a Web page.

Q: When can I get started?
A: Immediately. Just complete the online registration form to begin the approval process. You'll receive an email from Commission Junction with your username and password, and once approved by TRUSTe, you'll receive a Welcome email from us.

Q: How and when will I be paid?
A: United States Afiliates ONLY. We are in the process of adding additional countries. Commission Junction processes payments on the 20th of the following month (i.e. checks for commissions earned in January are processed February 20th). If you have earned less than $50.00 USD, and you are signed up for direct deposit, your commission will be carried over until you reach $50.00 at the monthly payout date. The minimum payment amount for those signed up to receive checks is $100.00. (Minimum payout levels vary depending on the affiliate's functional currency).

Q: What about product returns?
A: If a purchase is refunded, either by a customer return or credit card dispute/fraud, your account will be debited for any commission earned on that transaction.

Q: How can I keep track of my sales and earnings?
A: Commission Junction offers free online reporting tools that can be used to track your sales and earnings.

Q: How do I get my affiliate link?
A: There are over 50 TRUSTe affiliate links to choose from, including banners, text links and video links. Simply log into your affiliate account at Commission Junction and follow these steps:

1. Click on the "Get Links" tab
2. Search for TRUSTe in the Advertisers search box
3. Click on "View Links" under our logo
4. Choose the link you would like to use, then click on "Get HTML" at the right
5. Copy the HTML code provided and paste it into the code on the Web page where you want the link to appear.

Q: How can I find out about special sales for Affiliates?
A: Make sure you are signed up to receive email from us. Log into your CJ account, and go to the TRUSTe advertiser detail page. Then check the box next to "Receive Email" and click the "Update Mail Settings" button.

Q: I forgot the password for my CJ account--where can I get it?
A: Please use the online password assistance form at http://members.cj.com/member/foundation/lost_passwd.jsp. If you require additional assistance logging into your account at CJ, you can contact CJ Client Services at 800-761-1072.

Q: Can I bid on the trademark name TRUSTe?
A: TRUSTe does allow the use of trademark bidding or URL bidding.
