At TRUSTe, we hold our members to industry-leading online privacy standards. TRUSTe does everything possible to help our member Web sites protect the privacy of your personal information, but we also rely on your vigilance. We back up the integrity of our seal programs with our online Watchdog Dispute Resolution program, which lets users hold TRUSTe sealholders accountable.

TRUSTe’s Watchdog Dispute Resolution Form is an online tool that lets you report violations of posted privacy statements and specific online privacy issues that pertain to TRUSTe member Web sites. TRUSTe investigates all eligible complaints and mediates solutions between users and Web sites.

Before you complete the Watchdog Dispute Resolution Form, please follow these steps:

Confirm that the Web site in question is a TRUSTe member
Verify that the complaint is a privacy matter relating to a TRUSTe member Web site
Contact the TRUSTe member Web site first

If the TRUSTe member does not resolve your complaint quickly and satisfactorily, TRUSTe will review your Watchdog complaint, make sure it’s eligible and mediate a solution.
